Come Catch Smallmouth!

Come catch smallmouth bass, walleye, pike and pan fish with legendary guide Mike Norris on Big Green Lake and other nearby south-central Wisconsin Lakes!  Check out my updated Photo Gallery Link above for photos of satisfied customers!

June 16, 2024. Fishing is good right now on Big Green Lake. Most but not all of the smallmouth bass have spawned and are actively seeking out crayfish to eat. The water clarity is excellent . It is a good time to try Ned Rigs because they imitate a crayfish. On sunny days, go deeper with a Drop Shot rig. Trout are active in deeper water and can be caught with jigging spoons. White bass can be found around the Heidel Bar. Rock Bass are both shallow and deep. Catch them with a drop shot rig and red worm. All species are biting on Fox Lake. Largemouth bass fishing is excellent. They can be found in and around piers, the islands, and in The Jug. Anglers are trolling spinners and casting jigs for walleyes. The crappie fishing is good. Try them with a minnow suspended beneath a float. Northern pike are active and can be caught with Chatterbaits.   Phone or message me at 630-842-8199 or email me at smallmouthangler@aol.com to book your guide trip and we will see if we can put your personal best bass in the boat!!
