Many of you may have heard I am being inducted into the FRESHWATER FISHING HALL OF FAME. The induction ceremony will occur at noon on March 8, 2024, on the Main Stage at the MILWAUKEE SENTINEL OUTDOORS SHOW. As a member of and inductee of the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, I would love to see you support the Hall by becoming a member. December 4, 2024. Sub-freezing temperatures have arrived, and the lakes are icing up. It's time to get ready for the sports show season and book new and old clients for guide trips in 2025. My first sports show appearance will be at the TINLEY PARK OUTDOORS SHOW, JANUARY 10 - 12, 2025, at the Tinley Park Convention Center, Tinley Park, IL. I will conduct seminars and have a booth on all three days of the show. See me, and we'll set up your guided fishing trip for 2025.
About Me
As one of the Midwest's top fishing guides, Mike Norris exceeds customer's expectations when on the water. Mike guides out of a comfortable deep-hulled 2022 Ranger 1880ms powered by a 200 HP Mercury Pro XS Outboard. You can expect to catch quantities of smallmouth bass during a guide trip, but don't be surprised to also find a few walleye and northern pike on the end of your line. While out on the water, Mike teaches his customers how he locates the best fish areas using his Lowrance HDS 12 Live fish finders and Active Target Live. His bow mount electronics include a Humminbird Helix 10 fish finder and a Minn Kota Ulterra trolling motor with both down and side imaging. Mike's extensive knowledge of seasonal fish locations and use of productive lures to find the biggest and best fish makes his guide trips popular with his customers. Mike supplies his customers with industry-leading Grandt Rods, Pflueger Reels, Seaguar Fishing Line, and various productive fish-catching lures. Whether a beginning angler or a seasoned veteran, you will be pleased you booked your guide trip with Mike Norris. All you need to bring is your hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, seasonal clothing, a current Wisconsin fishing license, and, most importantly, a camera to photograph the quality fish you will catch!

Mike Norris Outdoors provides guided fishing trips for individuals and groups. Mike can accommodate up to three anglers in his boat, but if you have a larger group, Mike will provide additional guides to ensure your outing is complete. Mike guides customers of all ages and experience levels with a wide variety of fishing techniques and species of fish to target.
